  • Counting His blessing in my life ~ no.7 = Made in His Image

Thanksgiving is coming up!  One of my favorite holiday!

I need to regroup my thanksgivings to the  Lord in 2011.

Blessing No. 1 = knowing  God through every ups and downs in 2011.

Blessing No. 2 = my husband, families, friends and strangers that  God has placed in my life.

Blessing No. 3 = that  God is my Judge and His give justice to those seek after Him.

Blessing No. 4 = He is my Light.  At times when I pray…I search…I see nothing…I pray…I hear  His voice…I wait…I stay alert…I see  His light and I follow.  He guides me with  His words and direct me with  His Light.  His provision for me is perfect.  I have been stretched in many ways and  He blesses me with a little more perseverance and patient in me.  It is not easy but worth my time for it.  He knows and has the plans for me in my life.  I must follow  Him.

Blessing No. 5 = God of Grace.  Grace that bring me to my knees when I am ashamed of my sins.  Grace that allows me to come before my  Father in heaven to repent from my sins.  He renews me and empowers me to move forward in life.

Blessing No. 6 = my  Unchanging  God.  I can always count on  His faithfulness and mercy in this unstable world.

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”

Blessing No. 7 =It’s a beautiful thing to be made in  God’s image

I am thankful that we are all made in  God’s image.  We all carry a small facet of  His glory.  It is amazing how one person has a totally opposite personality trait, like my husband and I, these facets of radiation are in perfect harmony in the essence of  God.  Surely our sins clouded this true beauty in us.  But  God says to us, “you are dark, but lovely.”  (Song of Solomon 1:5)  God is too good to me.

For how great is its goodness
          And how great its beauty!
Grain shall make the young men thrive,
And new wine the young women.”

            (Zechariah 9:17)
