Month: September 2011

  • God of All Grace (who need His Grace?)

And after you have suffered a little while,
    the God of all grace
who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ,
will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.

    (1 Peter 5:10 ESV)

Anyone need prayers of His Grace today? Please drop your notes here.

  • Anyone need prayer for eyes to be opened? I will pray for you!

    Open my eyes,
that I may behold wondrous things out of your law.
    (Psalm 119:18 ESV)
  • How can a Christ follower remain ‘salted’ to season the earth?

“You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored?”
    (Matthew 5:13 ESV)

  • Semi-Anniversary

Depends on when my husband and I count our days of togetherness…

praise  God that we reach the mark of 6-month of marriage.

There were times of dying to ourselves, just as we should as we work out our salvation in  Christ.

There were times of humbling ourselves, to learn to love one another just as  Christ loves us unconditionally.

There were times of celebration among ourselves, as we press in together and receive  God’s guidance in our journey of life.

    Sailing onward with my husband…

  • Deeper by Parachute Band

It is an old song which has been playing in my heart a lots lately…

  • Not what you say, but what you mean

I love the fact that  God speaks to me.  Out of  His gracious love  He speaks to me.

We just marked our 5th month of marriage. He gives me this thought about communication where my husband and I strive to improve in our marriage–

If my husband and I communicate at perfect wavelengths,

    it leads to boredom.

    If we exchange broken communication,

    it leads to challenge.

    I embrace challenge!

I long to cease sparkle of friction and celebrate over firework of joy

in communication with my beloved husband.

    My Heavenly Father guides us!
